What do we intend to do in the next three years?
- Creating further opportunities for hands on training in GI Endoscopy including provision of a mentorship program for doctors and nurses to further their skills. This will be provided with virtual online mentoring and face-to-face courses including development on an ‘Uber’ style app for trainees to request support at a time suited to them in their own hospital.
- Increasing support for education in remote areas in the United Kingdom and also Europe. This shall include remote parts of England, Wales and Scotland and Ireland. In addition we are increasing our support in central and eastern Europe in regions where there is little opportunity for education and training in GI Endoscopy.
- We are also developing simulation training to support nurses and doctors in their own hospital saving travel for courses and allowing greater opportunity with significantly reduced cost.
